Hi All:
There hasn't been much to report lately and I have been too frustrated to post how I really feel about our homestudy agency. Let's just say I am not pleased with their communication, leadership, efficiencies (or lack of) and reliability. We have been waiting for 2 weeks for our homestudy to be signed. It's done, it's in their office, all that needs to happen is one stinkin signature and somehow that is a major task that can't be accomplished. I really don't get it. They are very efficient when they need money...they seem to be able to send out a bill on time, but can't get one person in an office to sign a document....even after repeated phone calls. I do have to say though that our individual social worker is great...I think she is even a little disgusted with the people in the office and their lack of urgency to complete this task. She has been great...too bad she's not the one in charge!! I have been promised that I will have the homestudy in my hot little hands on Friday, we will see!
Anyway...other than that we are waiting for our DNA test to be completed. I hope to hear next week that it has been done and then the week after that for the results.
